Our story

Built by listening, not guessing.

Wovall started with real conversations with a working Nigerian fashion designer about what actually makes her business hard. Not a feature wish list. Her lived frustrations, one by one.

Where the name comes from

Wovall: woven from "wove" and "all"

It sounds like "overall," on purpose. An overall is what a designer puts on to work. Wovall is what she puts on to run the business behind the work: every client, every measurement, every quote, every stitch of progress, woven into one place instead of scattered across a notebook, a camera roll, and forty WhatsApp threads.

Wovall is an all-in-one business management tool for every fashion designer: one app that replaces the notebook, the calculator, the reminder app, the invoice template, and the separate content tools designers juggle just to keep a brand running.

"Your whole business. Woven together."

Where it started

Forty pain points, centred down to four that mattered most

The full list came from sitting down and really listening to a designer describe her actual working week. Four answers carried more weight than the rest, and they became the reason Wovall exists.

"It frustrates me because the time I'm meant to make other dresses, I'm making content for my brand."

Content shouldn't cost sewing time

So Wovall doesn't hand a designer a content template and wish her luck. It puts together the plan, the shot list, the caption, and a mockup of the shoot itself. She approves and shoots. That's the whole job left for her.

"She travelled out of the country. I would have asked her if I can tag her if I post the picture of the dress online."

No client should be lost by accident

A finished garment is proof of skill and an opportunity for reach, if someone remembers to ask at the right moment. Wovall remembers, every time, and follows up for a review the day the garment is delivered.

"After I deliver the dress, I honestly don't know if I made money or lost money on that job."

Profit shouldn't be a mystery after delivery

Fabric, thread, fuel, extra buttons, a rush delivery fee: it all adds up quietly and disappears into memory. Wovall logs every real cost against every order, so a designer sees actual profit or loss on a job, not just a guess.

"I have one app for reminders, one for invoices, one for content, and I still lose track."

One app, not a stack of overwhelming ones

Wovall brings clients, measurements, quotes, production, payments, bookkeeping and content into a single app, with proper record-keeping built in and the busywork handled automatically, so the designer can stay focused on the parts of the business only she can do.

What we hold ourselves to

Five principles that don't move

Protect sewing time

Every feature is judged by one question: does this give a designer back minutes at the needle, or take them away.

Offline is normal

NEPA outages and patchy data are the reality, not the exception. Wovall works without signal and reconciles later.

The owner's money is private

Profit, cost and bank details are owner-only by default, enforced at the database itself, not just kept off the screen.

Look premium to the client

Every summary, invoice, agreement and update a client sees is clean and branded, because the designer's work deserves to look as good as it is.

Nothing sends without approval

Every client-facing message is a draft first. The owner approves, then it sends. Never silent, never automatic.

Naira-first, world-open

Built around Naira and the Nigerian designer's own business, while welcoming clients from anywhere in the world, including the UK diaspora.
